:: WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT |
We ask different Organizations, Philanthropists, Endowment Funds, and others to help finance our cultural activities ,proposed and ongoing projects:
- funding from the state of the National Endowment for the Arts for our cultural activity
- sponsorship from any organization to finance our Productions/Shows that include theatre/performance Venue, Props & costumes, production staffing fees, performer's fees, and other production expenses. Sponsors gets free advertising in the souvenir programs, Posters, and other production advertising materials in exchange for some money and may involve several sponsors.
- donations from the public in exchange for the entrance tickets to the show. The money generated on this would be able to finance other projects.
- Festivals and Art Exhibits would utilize Filipino Organizations, businesses, Philippine Gov't through the Philippine Consulate, who would be collaborating each other in funding such activities. SKCAFI just be a co-organizer with a specific task assigned during this kind of activity. Then, there usually is the Bazaar of Philippine Ethnic products for a donation fee. There is also the proceeds generated from the display booths of exhibitors which, defending on the agreement with the other sponsors, we may have a share from said proceeds.
- Inviting Philippine Artists and Cultural Luminaries for Lectures & Seminar/Workshops would usually be in cooperation and assistance from the Philippine Gov't thru it's Consulate and the Philippine . Dep't of Arts and Culture.
- Sponsorship by business and civic organizations would handle the venues, accommodation, and the logistics of the activity. Seminar workshops sponsored by private organizations usually involve a donation fee in order to join the activity. The sponsor, in itself, will make arrangement with our organization to give a donation fee for doing the seminar workshop aside from the artists/lecturers accommodation, lodging, and air fare.
- School (if workshop done thru a school's sponsorship for it's students) would usually handle the venue and the audience and other needs.
- Organizing Cultural groups in states with heavy FilAm population would be done by getting civic organizations in said location to sponsor seminar workshops to a target population and it is their responsibility to fund the whole activity which would usually end up with the creation of a cultural group and a culminating activity which is a performance by the workshop attendees who would in turn be the core member of the created cultural organization. There is a Donation Fee for every seminar workshop which is the responsibility of the sponsor aside from the accommodation and lodging.
- Organizations which are interested on research for a certain tribe or culture, or any other topic that is within the bounds of our Philippine Culture.
- SKCAFI intends to organize regularly scheduled social gatherings for the public to attend for a donation fee where we conduct lessons and classes on different dances and artistic activities. We also intend to open a kind of school for Philippine Folk dances, Theatre, Voice Lessons, and Philippine Music. The proceeds would help fund the staff artists, personnel, and logistics of the organization.
- The organization would try to make Philippine ethnic products the focus of it's exhibits and Bazaars. A part of the proceeds from the Exhibit and Bazaar will fund the project of assisting Philippine Cultural groups help in the preservation of Living Culture (Ethnic/Tribal Culture). The funding will have a long way of helping the economic upliftment thru the promotion and development of the Ethnic/Tribal products and for their living subsistence.
