Pasinaya 2005's theme's composer is Felix Tapongot, resident musical director of Sining Kambayoka Ensemble (SKE), which is based in Mindanao State University and now touring the United States.

Fondly called Flex T. by fellow Kambayokans, he is popular because of his talent in playing the guitar. He also composed most of the ensemble’s love songs and opening aongs. He had also ventured into acting, playing Rakim in Halik sa Kampilan, and trained in the technical aspects of theater such as lighting, sound and stage managing tours and university performances.

He is married to one of the beautiful leading ladies of Kambayoka, Enelita Romero. Both continued to establish a cultural legacy in Cagayan de Oro as the president and executive director, respectively, of Kambayoka-Arts Outreach, Inc. Felix also extended his talent to Couples for Christ as the director for its music Ministry. During the first US tour of SKE in 2001, he was the musical director and again was invited by the SKCAFI and Federation of Mindanao in Southern California as the head of delegation for Tribu Festival and facilitator of dance-theater workshops to educate US-based Filipinos and inspire them to love their cultural heritage.

A pioneering member of MSU-Sining Kambayoka, Basilidas Villegas Pelapil Jr. played major and minor roles in almost all the plays of the company. In 1987, he started the Kambayoka Outreach Program, which led to the creation of K-Arts in 2000. He has conducted theater workshops in Northern Mindanao and other parts of the country. While in Manila in 1985, he worked with Joel Lamangan as stage manager in the latter's theater productions.

In Surigao where he teaches, he continued the outreach program of the Kambayoka. He is presently the artistic director of Hingas Surigao Dance Theater of Surigao Norte National High School, Surigao City. He has also been designated as the coordinator for the school's Special Program for the Arts (SPA). Some of the theater productions he directed include Arthur P. Casanova's Dula-Tula and Lumad: Huwag Mong Lisanin ang Kabundukan, which was presented during the 30th anniversary of Sining Kambayoka. It was also performed in Surigao through a National Theater Fund grant from the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA).

Jun Pelapil is likewise an ace choreographer who has been involved in almost all street dancing festivals in the country. He was the choreographer of the Sining Kambayoka when it embarked on its first US tour in 2001. In recognition of all his achievements, he was one of the recipients of the "Gador Awards 2004" given by the MSU-SKE and NCCA, for cultural excellence in dance and theater works in Mindanao. Presently, he represents Eastern Mindanao in Mindulani and in the NCCA-Committee on Dramatic Arts. He is now the resident choreographer of SKCAFI,USA.
